Paradoxicaloxymoron on Twitch asks:
"So what's with all of this Sleeper aggression now rather than earlier or later?"
The Panel's answer:
Morwen:
Aggression may be the wrong word here, when you consider that capsuleers have been attacking the Sleepers’ defense drones and structures for the last five years! Of course, they clearly have been studying the people who live in known space for a while, but until we get more information from CCP in the form of news articles, chronicles, lore dumps on EVElopedia or other ingame methods like landmark and exploration sites, there’s really no way of telling how long they’ve been doing so. They certainly haven’t made the first aggressive move, though - that would be us, so it’d be fairer to guess that they are retaliating. Of course, with the Other in the picture, who knows?
Rhavas:
I think it’s still too early to call it “aggression”. Interest, yes. I think Morwen is on the right track relative to the Sleepers … the question is if NOT the Sleepers, then who? There are lots of choices.
